This year’s returning guest of honor is John Raisbeck, son of RAF A.C.2 Kenneth Raisbeck, who is interred at G.A.R. John, ‘the son that Kenneth never met’, will reflect on his father during our ceremony.
The American Legion, Marine Corps League , The City of Tulsa Pipes and Drums The Royal Air Force, Royal British Legion; and Roger Meyer/Bugles Across America, will participate in our ceremony. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” will be sung by Kelly Casillas and her daughter Taylor Hibbs. Roses will be laid upon each grave by Kamberlyn Tanner and Kaydence Dunbar, granddaughters of G.A.R. Cemetery’s Office Mgr., Nancy Bro.
Immediately following the ceremony, G.A.R. Cemetery will be hosting an “English Tea” reception at The Coleman Theatre Beautiful Ballroom at 103 North Main Street, Miami, Oklahoma 74354.
